St. Stanislaus baseball’s Seth Farni named 2022 Preseason All-American

Back in December, News 25 featured the newest St. Stanislaus slugger, Ole Miss commit Seth Farni.

Already delivering on the high expectations early in the season, even as those expectations continue to grow.

Yesterday, Farni tabbed by Rawlings and Perfect Game as a 2022 Preseason Underclass All-American.

His stock has been on the rise ever since his 27-homer showing broke the single round record at the World Power Showcase in November.

A two-way centerfielder and left-handed pitcher, Farni is off to a strong start to his junior season, his first as a Rock-A-Chaw, leading the team with four homers while hitting at a clip of .353.

He’s the only player from the Coast on the national team.

Several others getting regional praise, starting with the Underclass Southeast First Team, those being Ole Miss commit Kaden Irving out of Gautier, Mississippi State commit Keilon Parnell out of Pascagoula, and Ole Miss commit Ethan Surowiec out of Gulfport.

On the Senior Southeast Second Team, it’s Mississippi State signee Logan Forsythe out of D’Iberville and Ole Miss commit Patrick Galle out of Biloxi.
