St. Stanislaus alum Myles Brennan announces he is staying at LSU

On November 1st, quarterback Myles Brennan announced via Twitter he was entering the NCAA transfer portal.

Just over a month later, the fifth-year senior once again took to Twitter, tweeting “there’s no place like home. Let’s ride, Tiger nation.”

Brennan will use his final year of eligibility to stay in Baton Rouge and play under new Head Football Coach Brian Kelly.

During his time in Death Valley so far, Brennan has thrown for more than 1,700 yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Prior to Brennan’s announcement to stay, there was only one scholarship quarterback on LSU’s roster, freshman Garrett Nussmeier.

LSU closes out their 2021 season on January 4th in Houston when they take on Kansas State in the Tax Act Texas Bowl.
