St. Patrick Track and Field pulls off sweep: girls, boys team win 2A state championships

A couple weeks ago, St. Patrick’s Leila Ransonet called her own shot during her signing day ceremony saying “We’ve been working hard and I think we’re going to get another state championship.”

Here we are, crowning both the girls and boys teams as 2A state champions from Saturday’s meet in Pearl.

It’s the fifth title for the girls with 130 points and the first for the boys with 113 points.
