St. Patrick softball defeats Magee 11-1 in game one of the second round of playoffs!

St. Patrick Catholic high school hosting Magee for game one of the second round of playoffs. Peyton Parks with the start on the mound for the Fighting Irish.

Trojans pick up one in the top of the first. Senior Elizabeth Colson knocks in the first run to tie things up 1-1 in the first.

Rowan Romano brings electricity in the top of the 2nd with a throw down at second. Tara Nasakatis with a two-rub RBI standing triple to extend St. Patrick lead 3-1. Colston lets another one rip up the middle scoring another two runs making it 5-1 after two complete innings.

The Fighting Irish went on to win this game 11-1 in five innings played. Parks only gave up three hits, one run, and struck out 6. St. Patrick will look for the sweep tomorrow night as they return the favor and head to Magee.
