St. Patrick Fighting Irish softball cruise in first round of MHSAA 3A playoffs

The St. Patrick Fighting Irish softball team began their playoff push towards a state title on Wednesday against Kemper County.

The lady Irish are looking to make their way back to the 3A state championship game and they got off to an incredible start, defeating the Wildcats in two games. Both games ended by run-rule after three innings. Game one ended 22-0 in favor of St. Patrick and the Irish came on top in game two 21-0.
