St. Patrick Catholic High School starts school today

Summer vacation is over for students at St. Patrick Catholic High School as they kicked off their first day back.

Enrollment is up this year with more than 460 students enrolled in seventh to 12th grade for this school year. The school’s students land ACT and SAT scores that far exceed the state and national average.

Principal Dr. Matt Buckley tells News 25 about the school’s mission regarding educating scholars, training disciples, and supporting champions. “Academic excellence is definitely a key component of our mission here at St. Patrick. We have 100 percent of our students go to college and 100 percent get college scholarships. So, we work really hard to make sure students are prepared for college, the ACT, and get those scholarship dollars.”

According to Niche.com, St. Patrick is the number one ranked Catholic high school in Mississippi.
