St. Patrick Catholic high school basketball coach reaches his 1,000th win

One local high school coach recently reached a milestone that many dream of but only a few achieve.

Keith Robinson, head coach at St. Patrick catholic high school, recently won his 1,000th career game as a head coach.

Robinson has been a part of the game of basketball for 42 seasons and has had stops on 4 other high schools before making his way to St. Patrick.

WXXV sports director Jevan McCoskey has the chance to sit with Robinson after his milestone win and asked him what the future looks like for him as a coach.

“Well I love the game,” he said. “My deal when I came here was as long as I love the game I would stay and do it. I love it, I love it here, and as long as I wake up in the morning and it is still exciting I will continue to do it.”
