St. Patrick Boys Soccer punched their ticket to the Class I State Championship Game!
For the first time in a long time, the St. Patrick boys soccer team is headed to the State Championship! After playing in the South State game three times in the past five years, the Fighting Irish finally have a chance at the gold ball. These guys poured their heart and soul into the South State title match last night, defeating PCS 3-1 in overtime.
For a group of eleven seniors who have called each other teammates for countless years, they want nothing more than to end their high school career with a bang. Three seniors and Head Coach Ryan Worsham told WXXV why they believe this team is battling for a state title.
The Fighting Irish will fight for the banner this Friday night at 7pm against St. Andrews at Ridgeland Highlights. Highlights of the game will be shown on WXXV!
