St. Patrick baseball’s Cohen Weinhofer puts pen to paper

It was a proud day for St. Patrick baseball as one of their senior standouts committed to the next level.

Family and friends, coaches, and staff came together to celebrate and honor senior center fielder and putcher Cohen Weinhofer as he signs his letter of intent.

Cohen will be taking his talents to Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Ever since he was a kid, Cohen has loved baseball. The senior says the game has taught him to develop strong work ethic and to never give up.

He tells News 25 why he chose Co-Lin as his new home. “It’s just a nice campus. As soon as I walked on campus, it just felt like home and the coaches are real down to earth, humble people and I know they want the best for me.”

Cohen also says he’s grateful for everyone who attended his signing day and everyone who has contributed to his success on and off the field.
