St. Patrick alum Nick Krass transferring to Southern Miss from Oregon State
HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Former St. Patrick boys basketball standout Nick Krass has a new home at Southern Miss.
The former News 25 Student-Athlete of the Week is transferring from Oregon State after one season, having signed with the Beavers in April 2022.
Krass appeared in 26 of the team’s 32 games as a true freshman, pitching in 43 points and 16 rebounds off the bench.
As a high school senior, Krass led the Fighting Irish with 22 points per game en route to their first Final Four appearance all-time, finishing with an overall mark of 31-3.
Krass was also the team-leader in assists, steals, and blocks.
