St. Martin’s Bri Sanders joins WXXV to discuss her Flag Football journey that led to a big honor!

St. Martin graduating senior Brianne Sanders joins Sports Director Ansley Brent on set to discuss her flag football journey at a recent achievement! Sanders was named a 2025 National Player of the Year Finalist representing the New Orleans Saints Organization. Only one person from each NFL team was chosen, meaning Sanders earned the honor over Mississippi and Louisiana high schoolers.

Sanders has been apart of the Yellowjackets first two seasons of flag football where she played a huge role in their first ever State Championship win in 2025. Congratulations to Bri on all the major achievements that Flag Football brought her way!
