St. Martin’s Brandon Cunningham chosen for World Bowl

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is doing something new this year by hosting its first ever high school all-star game known as the World Bowl.

Only 67 players from the Planet Earth got the invite and one of them is from right here on the Gulf Coast.

St. Martin’s Brandon Cunningham is the one making history as the only guy from Mississippi on the roster. Some of the other countries represented are the Netherlands, France, and Mexico with the latter serving as the host country.

The four-star right tackle is committed to Mississippi State and just took part in Saturday’s Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic.

The game will be played in Mexico City on December 22nd and will be televised on CBS Sports Network on the 27th at 6 p.m.

St. Martin running back Ham McGee also made history this week as the first ever Yellowjacket to be named to the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star roster.
