St. Martin Public Library reopened with new children area and study room

The St. Martin Public Library has officially reopened.

Today at the ribbon cutting, people toured the new and improved areas as well as met the county leaders, library staff, and friends of the St. Martin Public Library.

The library has expanded with nearly double the reading areas and a brand-new area for the children’s library.

Along with the children’s area, a new study room has also been created for the public to enjoy. Jackson-George Regional Library Director Angie Stewart said, “We are so excited, as I said earlier, you know, libraries are a reflection of their community. And the growth of this library is a reflection of the growth of St. Martin and we want this building to be used constantly. It’s for not just children, it’s for adults…it’s for teenagers.”

You can visit the improved St. Martin Public Library at 15004 Lemoyne Boulevard.
