St. Martin Middle School Robotics team headed to Dallas for national competition

The St. Martin Middle School Robotics Team is headed to Texas.

This year has been beyond successful for the Yellowjackets. The team competed at William Carey for district, won the state competition in Jackson, and they are now headed to Dallas for the national tournament.

Different categories in the tournament include building airplanes, the solar car sprint, and the tech bowl.

The team is excited to have made it this far. Team member Parker Henson said, “It’s just, it’s very amazing that we’ve been able to have this opportunity to go to Dallas and compete with stuff that we’re good at.”

Team members include Thilbert Hager, Parker Henson, Gage Hempe, and Daniel Moore.
