St. Martin Man Dies In Accident

A St. Martin man is dead after a late night single car accident in Jackson County.

Deputies found 55 year old “Derrick Van Rainey’s” car in a ditch on walker road right off Rose Farm Road around 11:30 last night.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says it’s possible Rainey had a medical emergency before the crash, but that has not been determined yet.
