St. Martin High shares message regarding call about potential threat at school
ST. MARTIN, Miss. (WXXV)- St. Martin High School Principal Shea Scarborough took to social media Monday to address a dispatch call circulating in the community regarding a potential threat to the high school.
In the message, Scarborough said that the school is in constant contact with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department and they have found no evidence of direct or immediate threat.
The principal goes on to say the safety of students and staff is their top priority and they are taking all necessary precautions.
Scarborough also asks the community if they hear of rumors or have concerns to reach out to the school or the sheriff’s department to verify the information before sharing it with others.
