St. Martin High School Class of 2023 walks across the stage
It was a day of celebration and achievement as the graduating class of St. Martin High School gathered at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
The coliseum was filled with anticipation as families eagerly awaited the arrival of their loved ones. This year marked the first time in a decade that the graduating class had fewer than 300 students, with a total of 273 individuals proudly donning their caps and gowns.
The class was smaller than in previous years, but their achievements were mighty.
Seventy-seven percent of the graduates are headed to junior colleges or universities. Higher education isn’t the only path these graduates are taking. Six percent have chosen to serve their country by enlisting in the military.
The remaining graduates have decided to enter the workforce directly, ready to contribute their skills and talents to the community. It’s worth noting that 18 of these students have already secured jobs with Ingalls Shipbuilding.
