St. Martin Boys Basketball team wins 9th Grade District Championship!

We’re headed over to the hardwood now as two coast teams go head to head for a 9th grade District Championship game.    

We pick things up at half as Picayune leads 19-18. Prince Drummond passes cross court to Seth Crocket who instantly pulls up and drains a three for the Yellowjacket! 

Soon after it’s Drummond to Crocket again, he dribbles right and passes left to Tashawn Moore who’s under the goal and puts up a nice layup for two.

Colby McDougle rolling in like the Tide makes good on it with a short two for Picayune.

Yellowjacket ball but not for long as Kasen Brumfield takes the pass, shuffles back to the three point line and it’s nothing but net for Brumfield and the Maroon Tide.

Drummond now giving the ball to his go-to in Crocket and he does what he does best, and this half was all Yellowjackets!

St. Martin defeats Picayune with a final score of 44-36! Half of those points alone came from their leading scorer Seth Crocket who had 22 points. Congratulations Yellowjackets, your 9th Grade District Champions!
