Spring Break shooting suspect in custody in Harrison County
The suspect in the Black Spring Break shooting is now in custody in Harrison County.
Twenty-two-year-old Dontavis Magee of Gulfport was captured in Covington County yesterday. He’s at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center being held on a more than $2 million bond for felony charges including four counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault on a police officer.
He is also being held without bond for armed robbery and kidnapping charges that stem from an incident in Georgia.
Magee has been on the run since that April 16th shooting in which five people, including a Biloxi police officer, were shot.
Earlier this week, we reported the injured officer is recovering and is undergoing physical therapy.
The other four victims have since been released from the hospital.
