Spring Break Explosion concert at MGM Park

MGM Park will play host to the highly anticipated Spring Break Explosion concert tonight.
The event features a variety of artists such as Corey Finesse, Bianca Clarke, and Collin Cooper. The gates opened at 6 p.m. and DJs from all over the country entertained the crowd before headliner Lil Uzi Vert took the stage.
With a widespread group of entertainers, DJs, and musical performers lined up for the night, organizers hope to create a show unlike anything the Gulf Coast has ever seen. Performing artist Otis Lit said, “I’ve never been here before. I mean, my expectation is just make sure that I rock out this show, ya know?”
Event organizer Dollah Dae said, “We’ll set a positive tone. We’re the kick off. We’re the first event of the weekend and what we’re trying to do is set a positive tone and raise the bar.”
Surrounding hotels, restaurants, and surrounding bars are already preparing for the boost of business. City officials tell News 25 from state line to state line, there’s only a handful of the 15,000 plus rooms available.
