Spring Arts Festival wraps up in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Thousands of people packed the streets of Downtown Ocean Springs over the weekend for the annual Spring Arts Festival.

The two-day event featured more than 200 artists, crafters, and garden vendors displaying everything from paintings and pottery to handmade jewelry and plants.

Visitors enjoyed artist demonstrations and food from local restaurants as the city celebrated the start of Spring.

The festival, now in its 33rd year, is one of Ocean Springs’ signature events and helps highlight the city’s thriving arts community while bringing a boost to local businesses.

Admission was free and the strong turnout once again made the Spring Arts Festival a major success for the Gulf Coast.
