Sponsor sign comes to Little Children’s Park in Ocean Springs
This morning, Disability Connection in Ocean Springs unveiled a new sponsor sign for the Little Children’s Park Project.
The playground at the Little Children’s Park has universally designed structures for kids and adults with or without disabilities to all be able to play together.
Officials from Hancock Whitney Bank were also on hand to present a $5,000 check to Disability Connection so they will be able to continue to grow the park and make more fun for kids and adults with or without disabilities. Disability Connection Director Janie O’Keefe said, “The City of Ocean Springs and Disability Connection worked four years to bring five new pieces of inclusive playground equipment so that adults and kids with intellectual and physical disabilities and all kids and adults can play together no matter what their abilities are. We are just thanking our sponsors again by unveiling a sign in their honor and letting everyone know again that this is a very special place to play.”
