Special session called by Governor Tate Reeves

JACKSON, Miss. (WXXV)- Governor Tate Reeves has called a special session of the Mississippi Legislature.

The session is scheduled to begin at 11 Wednesday morning. A proposed budget has been set to fund government functions and keep spending under control.

A little over $7 billion is expected to be proposed, but Governor Reeves says the session is not expected to take long at all.
