Sparklight invests $36M in South Mississippi internet upgrades, expanding fiber network

Sparklight says it has invested nearly $36 million over the past three years to upgrade internet service across South Mississippi.

The company says the improvements have expanded its fiber network in Biloxi, Gulfport, Pascagoula, Long Beach, Moss Point, and Ocean Springs.

Sparklight officials say the upgrades are designed to support faster internet speeds, more connected devices, and the growing demands of remote work, online learning, streaming, and business operations.

The investment is part of a long-term effort to build out the region’s digital infrastructure and support future growth along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
