Southern Mississippians celebrate Easter Sunday

Many South Mississippians made their way to church Sunday to mark the Easter commemoration.

Churches across all Christian denominations held multiple services as people celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For Catholics, the Lenten season is now over and the 50-day Easter season begins, running all the way through Pentecost.
