Southern Mississippi Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

May 5th is Cinco de mayo, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast took part in the Mexican holiday.

As we all know May 5th is Cinco de mayo.
Many celebrations and deals were happening across the coast.
Azteca’s on Highway 49 in Gulfport was one party location earlier today.
The restaurant was packed with partygoers enjoying the Latin culture holiday.
Live music, drinks, and lots of food were included to make this a fun celebration.
Cinco de Mayo is the celebration of Mexico’s independence over the second French empire back in 1862.
More traditional celebrations take place across the country and beyond including parades, dancing, and much more.
