Southern Miss loses to Samford in Auburn Regional
This afternoon, the University of Southern Miss baseball team opened the NCAA Baseball Tournament with a game against Samford.
The game was played at Auburn University.
Top of the tenth inning tied at 1, Josh Rodriguez for Samford sends the ball to deep center field, it’s gone. Samford scores three runs in the tenth. They go on to beat Southern Miss 4-2.
The Golden Eagles must win Saturday or their season is over.
