Southern Miss launches new program

The University of Southern Mississippi has announced a new bachelor of arts in chemistry degree.

It is designed to provide students with a flexible foundation in chemical science and prepares graduates for careers in pharmaceutical and health-related fields.

This program was formally titled the bachelor of arts in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry and is tailored for students seeking broader academic and career options.

USM says the program reflects their mission to meet the evolving needs of students and the job market.
