HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WXXV) — A new era is underway for Southern Miss football, as the program formally introduced its 24th head football coach on Monday.

Blake Anderson will take over the program quickly, as he’ll lead the Golden Eagles into the New Orleans Bowl on December 23rd before turning his attention to the 2026 season.
