This is a once in a lifetime thing, and it’s a blessing to be a part of. It’s awesome for sure. (Shoutout Vancleave?) Vancleave for sure. For the Cleave!”
Head Coach Scott Berry said, “They didn’t go away easy. We had to work for everything. That felt pretty good. It’s really special. It’s special for all of these kids. It’s special for our fans. Everybody that invests in our program to make it what it is. I mean this is a special place. This is a special place. And people love their baseball here, and we love that they love it.”
Catcher Blake Johnson said, “Yeah, we’re going to soak it all in. We take it one game at a time. Really excited about this. We’re going to celebrate this for a while, and then we’re going to have a great practice whenever we start again and be ready to go for next week.”
