Southern Miss commencement ceremonies begin

The University of Southern Mississippi kicked off the first of three graduation ceremonies this morning.

Students listened to remarks from President Joe Paul as they embark on a new post-college journey.

Another ceremony was held in Hattiesburg this afternoon for students in the college of arts and sciences and nursing and health professions.

Here on the Coast, graduates from the Gulf Park Campus will talk the stage at 3 Saturday at the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.
