Southern Miss baseball receive rings following historic 2022-23 season

The USM baseball team just wrapped up their first series of the new season winning two out of the three games against Marist College.

On Saturday a few familiar faces were back in town to receive some special jewelry that the team earned off their play last season.

Before their game on Saturday the Golden Eagles were given their regional championship rings from the 2022-23 season. Las year, Southern Miss finished 46-22 with a 22-8 record in conference ball. That would be good enough for the number two seed in conference tournament play. After winning their conference tournament, Southern Miss found themselves in the Auburn Regional tournament where they would go on to crown themselves champions once again and have the chance to host a super regional.
