Southern Miss Baseball defeats Nicholls State 4-0 in 2026 Hancock Whitney Classic!

It was a chilly Tuesday night as the Southern Miss Golden Eagles hosted Nicholls State for the second game of the 2026 Hancock Whitney Classic at Keesler Federal Park. It was a pitchers duel three complete innings until USM got on the board in the form of a Matthew Russo double followed by back to back sack flies. They’d tack on another run in the 5th inning and two more in the 6th and Southern Miss wins 4-0! Full highlights from the matchup in the video above.
