Southeastern Grocers donates 1.5 million meals for Hunger Action Month
The parent company of Winn-Dixie Grocery Stores is donating over 1.5 million meals this Hunger Action Month.
Southeastern Grocers Inc. will donate $100,000 to Feeding America plus $50,000 to five food banks within the Grocer’s footprint.
The company is launching an in-store community donation program to benefit the American Red Cross in support of those impacted by emergencies.
Customers can help by donating $1, $5, or simply rounding up their grocery bill while shopping at Winn-Dixie stores through September 26th.
