High school football south state preview: Ocean Springs Greyhounds

Ocean Springs is led by 3-star athlete Sharroid Whitehead and head coach jake Bramlett.

The Greyhounds are winners of their last seven games and will look to carry that momentum into their south state matchup against the Brandon Bulldogs. While coach Bramlett knows it won’t be easy…he says it isn’t supposed to be at this point in the season. Whitehead added that this is something his teammates have been looking forward to all season long.

“The opponent is going to level up a little bit,” Ocean Springs head coach Jake Bramlett said. “Your level of play has to level up. That is what you are trying to be at the end is playing the best teams the state has to offer and you are one of those last four now.”

“It feels great,” Ocean Springs playmaker Sharroid Whitehead said. “This is what you dream for playing high school football. A lot of people doubted us in the beginning of the year so we are proving everyone wrong that we can win games.”
