South Mississippians share their New Year’s resolutions
As we ring in the New Year, many people are thinking about their New Year’s resolutions heading into 2025.
One of the more popular resolutions amongst South Mississippians was to stay healthy and exercise. “Try to eat less bread, and move more at the YMCA with working”, said Trey Skaggs.
But exercise wasn’t the only resolution in mind. Gulfport resident, Kajanuary Hodge spoke on what she wanted to focus on this new year. ” I believe I’m going to be successful this year because I’m going to do journaling, and I’m going to have a to-do list and I’m going to stick to my plans.”
Many locals shared one common New Year’s Resolution heading into 2025. “More of Jesus and less of me, so in everything we do, throughout the year we’re going to try and have more of Christ in us”, said Trey Skaggs. “Man, I want to get closer to God”, said Brian Bowens.
There are many great opportunities here on the coast to help make sure you stick to those New Year’s resolutions.
