South Mississippi All-Star Showcase

Ten years and counting, the South Mississippi All-Star Showcase is the best series of pick-up games on the Coast, featuring several dozen of the best players the state has to offer.

Capping off the two-day event is the underclassmen boys game.

Home team up ten at the break, but the away side making a huge second half run winning 73-70.

In between the girls and guys games, away girls winning 43-25, was the three-point competition and this is seniors and underclassmen.

D’Iberville’s Kalea Storm setting the bar high as the very first shooter with 12 in sixty seconds.

Later, another D’Iberville guy, Juan Santiago, absolutely cooking four in a row. He had 18 to pace all the boys.

But the girls side still up for grabs, Ocean Springs specialist Katie Stovall would finish with a round score of 14.

It’s Stovall versus Santiago, girls versus boys, in the finals.

Stovall wins with 29 overall compared to Santiago’s 26 total.
