Solar Eclipse events around the Coast

The solar eclipse takes place April 8^th and here are some places to go on the Coast to prepare for the big event!

There are places around the Coast where you can get solar eclipse glasses:

• Orange Grove Public Library-April 3rd
• Pass Christian Public Library-April 3rd
• Gulfport Public Library-April 3rd
• Margaret Sherry Memorial Library-April 3rd
• Stone County Library-April 4th
• Edgewater Mall-April 5^th

There will be other solar eclipse related events throughout the week as well.

• Solar Eclipse Preschool Storytime-Orange Grove Public Library at 10:30 a.m.
• Solar Eclipse Preschool Storytime-Pass Christian Public Library at 10:00 a.m.
• Solar Eclipse Preschool Storytime-Margaret Sherry Memorial Library at 10:00 a.m.
• Solar Eclipse Craft and Storytime-Stone County Library at 3:30 p.m.
• INFINITY Science Center will be open on April 8^th and offer a day of science fun during the solar eclipse from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will also provide live broadcast coverage from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Southern Miss Center for STEM Education will hold a viewing party on the Gulf Park Campus beginning at 12:31 p.m. at the Lofty Lot and it will end at 3:10 p.m.
