Smoke from grass fire impacts visibility on I-10 in Jackson County

Heavy smoke in the area of Exit 61 in Gautier caused visibility issues for drivers in Jackson County. The smoke was coming from a fire at Crane Refuge

Due to fire and smoke, traffic is being rerouted to Martin Bluff Road at this time.

Smoke may reduce visibility for motorists on I-10. Both lanes are affected and drivers should expect delays.
