Small fire at convenience store in Gulfport

Gulfport firefighters have put out a small fire at the BB Convenience Store in Gulfport.
The owner of the store tells News 25 she saw oil hopping from fryers in the back of the building and then saw smoke. She attempted to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher, but was unsuccessful. That’s when she called the fire department.
No injuries were reported and no severe damage appears to have been done.
