Will Kreppner, the manager at Slim Chickens in Biloxi, shares the proper way to cook and assemble chicken and waffles. “We make the waffle; around the same time the chicken is done the waffle is done. Then we’re going to assemble it. The way we assemble it is, we pretty much have the waffle, we put three chicken tenders on the waffle, you put a big scoop of butter, you load it down with syrup and it’s amazing.”

Slim Chickens will be open until 10 p.m. today.
