Slidell offering relief efforts

Cleanup efforts are beginning Thursday in Slidell, Louisiana after a tornado caused heavy damage on Wednesday.

A relief distribution center is set up at a park not far from the path of the tornado to distribute tarps, food, and ice for those who need it.

The city is also reminding residents a new website is now online to report home damage and request assistance.

That website is RebuildSlidell.com.
