Slap Ya Momma’s Smokehouse and BBQ is back open

Slap Ya Momma’s Smokehouse and BBQ reopened its doors to welcome guests today after being closed due to damages from Hurricane Zeta.

Over the last six months, crews and staff have worked hard to get the restaurant back open while also doing some renovations.

They have also worked on improving their menu while being closed to provide more options to their customers.

Marketing Director Kailee Henry tells News 25 they have also made upgrades to the building. “We added a whole new bar area. We had a huge bar that kind of took up the whole restaurant so we took that out. We made it more fun and more family friendly in here. We expanded our deck on the back deck so we have way more outdoor seating, that’s still in progress but it’s almost done. We are adding a bar outside as well so we can have more live bands and stuff like that for outside.”

The restaurant will be hosting their grand opening event this weekend with live entertainment scheduled plus one free adult drink on the house.
