Six MGCCC students selected for NASA program

Gulf Coast (WXXV)- Six MGCCC students are selected for NASA’s Community College Aerospace Scholars Program.

These students finishing the first mission of the program, proceeding to the last two.

Out of the Harrison County Campus, Lam Tran is a sophomore computer science major out of St. Martin.

William Buice is from Waveland and is a program alumni now – saying the program is amazing.

Meanwhile from the Jackson County Campus, Tyler Nguyen is a mechanical engineering student.

Other students from the Jackson County Campus include Christopher Strunk, Riley Ladner, and Zach McNutt.

Strunk is from Pascagoula and is an aerospace engineering major.

McNutt is from Ocean Springs as an electrical engineering major while Ladner is from Saucier and is a mechanical engineering major.
