Six George County Rebels sign to play Softball and Volleyball at the Collegiate Level!

What better way to start the week than celebrating a stellar group of senior girls reaching milestones they’ve been working towards their entire lives! The George county high school gym was field with proud friends, family and coaches as six girls signed scholarships to continue their softball and volleyball careers!

This senior class will truly go down in history, winning the first ever softball State Championship and their second just two years later, and the first ever volleyball District and South State Championship! With that being said, it’s no doubt these girls will be a huge asset for their future teams!

A pair of athletes will be taking on double duty for the wildcats, shortstop/libero Blakely Slay and centerfielder/middle hitter Aryana Dixon will be playing both softball and volleyball for Pearl River community college. Their fellow power hitter and outside Lani McDoniel will also be joining them at The River on the volleyball court. Also representing the maroon and gold but on the softball diamond is infielder Jordyn Bradley and outfielder Hadleigh Tatum! Rounding out the sensational six is right handed pitcher and designated hitter Addison Davis. Davis will be joining the reigning NJCAA Division II National Champions of Copiah-Lincoln Community College!

Congratulation again to these outstanding individuals, and we look forward to seeing all you accomplish in the years to come!
