Single vehicle accident in Pearl River County leaves one dead, one injured
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-On Friday, December 12, Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on interstate 59 in Pearl River County.
A Nissan Frontier was traveling south when it ran off the road and hit a tree.
The passenger of the vehicle, 66-year-old Charlene Parker, was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver, 68-year-old Freddie Parker, was taken to the hospital with injuries from the crash.
This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
