Singing River Health System celebrates National Hospital Week
National Hospital Week is celebrated May 7th through the 13th to highlight our hospitals, health systems, and health care workers.
Every year, Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs and Pascagoula likes to recognize the important roles each employee at the hospital plays in our community by throwing a cookout and providing fun activities for their staff.
Burgers, hotdogs, and more were provided along with games such as axe throwing.
A photo booth was set up outside for staff to enjoy during their break. Cancer Center Patient Navigator Tabitha Santacruz said, “It’s wonderful. It’s actually a very good vibe with everyone. It kind of gives us a break of our normal routine. It does help with the morale, with everything health wise going on. It gives us a break from the reality of our jobs.”
