Singing River Gulfport holds celebration for Nurses Week
This week is Nurses Week and Singing River Gulfport shared its love for nurses across the Coast by hosting a celebration.
The hospital held the celebration in the lobby where they gave out a variety of items such as Pop Brothers popsicles, socks, and coupons for the Lee Tracy’s Remedy Boutiques located at each of the Singing River hospitals along the Coast.
The event was put on for not only nurses at Singing River, but all other nurses along the Coast.
Public Relations Manager Ashley Butsch says they’re proud to host an event like this for the nurses who have worked these past two years. “It means a lot. They’ve done a lot for us giving back during the pandemic, and this is a small token of our appreciation for everything they’ve done for us, and it’s just a way for us to show our appreciation for everything they do for us day in and day out.”
National Nurses Week will continue until Thursday, May 12th.
