Singer, Actress Christina Milian stops in Biloxi on Beignet Box Coffee Tour

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Singer, Actress, and Entrepreneur Christina Milian made a stop in Biloxi bringing coffee, beignets, and a little star power as a part of a multi-state tour to launch a new ready-to-drink coffee line.

Milian and Beignet Box Co-Founder Elizabeth Morris visited Rouses Market on Pass Road for a meet-and-greet with customers and to pass out samples of their new canned coffee products.

The ‘Pop the Can’ Road Trip celebrates the rollout of Beignet Box cold brew and coffee drinks, now available at Rouses stores across Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama.

The new line features a sweet beignet latte and a traditional New Orleans style chicory cold brew. Christina Milian said, “We first started off with a food truck, a beignet truck, and it became widely popular in Los Angeles and also in Louisiana. So, we get a lot of requests. People want the beignet truck, they want the coffee, and our coffee became very popular, so we said alright we want to expand, we’re ready to go. So, we started this off with our canned coffee, and I’m here at Rouses with my new canned coffee. It’s a chicory cold brew, and we have our beignet latte. Now we’re officially in all of the Rouses, and I’m doing a little tour with my best friend. Meeting the people, meet and greet, and letting them know, and see, and taste, and try our beignet lattes.”

The tour began in Louisiana last week and will continue with stops along the Alabama coast in the coming days.
