Simon City Royals Kidnap Other Members

Three Gulfport Simon City Royals gang members are behind bars and charged with kidnapping two other Simon City Royals.
According to Gulfport Public Information Officer Sergeant Joshua Bromen, Gulfport police arrested 23-year-old Blaklyn Taylor, 28-year-old Brett Ridens and 26-year-old Elizabeth Page on charges of kidnapping. Taylor was also charged with aggravated assault and Ridens was charged with taking a motor vehicle.
Authorities responded to the area of Highway 49 and South Swan Road in reference to an aggravated assault and learned that one male victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the hand.
Upon further investigation with the two victims, it was determined that they had been held against their will on H. Page Road in Gulfport.
Sgt. Bromen tells News 25 this is not a random act. These Simon City Royals members were once friends.
All three were transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and the investigation will continue.
